Part number VDCPP9702 is a vertical lambo door hinge kit built by Vertical Doors, Inc., the only manufacturer producing these conversions in the USA. It fits the Plymouth Prowler across every year from 1997 through 2002, including the later Chrysler-badged cars, and covers all trims such as the Roadster 2D, Woodward Edition, and Black Tie Edition. The hinges are made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well.

This is a direct bolt-on kit: the hinges mount to the Prowler’s factory bolt pattern, so the doors attach where the stock hinges did, and the conversion is completely reversible if you ever want the car back to standard doors.
