The 1991-1995 Acura Legend is a clean, understated car, which is exactly why vertical doors get such a strong reaction on one. This Vertical Doors Inc. conversion kit, part number VDCAL9195, swings the front doors out a few inches and then straight up in the classic exotic-car motion, and it covers every trim of the Legend built from 1991 through 1995.

The hinges are a direct bolt-on design that mounts to the Legend’s factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is fully reversible if you ever want the car back to stock. Each kit is built in the USA from domestic hardened steel and carries a US patent, from the only manufacturer producing vertical lambo door kits in this country. VDI packs an instruction manual with every kit and backs it with free tech support, but our recommendation is to have a professional shop do the install working from those instructions, so the doors end up aligned and adjusted correctly the first time.
