This kit fits the GMC Denali from 2007 through 2014, covering every trim model in that run: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Part number VDCGMCDEN07 is a direct bolt-on lambo door conversion kit from Vertical Doors, Inc., made specifically for this body. The hinges mount straight to the factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is fully reversible, so the truck can go back to stock doors whenever you want.

Vertical Doors, Inc. builds these kits in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the hinge design is patented here as well. Installation is a job we recommend handing to a professional, working from the instructions supplied with the kit. Two things to know before ordering: VDI now treats this Denali kit as a special order item, so allow a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks before it ships, and like all VDI truck and SUV kits it is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

The door first swings out on the vertical pin, then lifts on the round bearing hub, and the gas shock holds it up: the two-stage motion in VDI's patent (US 6,845,547). Each kit has right and left hinge assemblies, two gas shocks, M8 bolts with washers, shoulder bolts and pins (VDI install manuals); set screw #2 and nut #1 adjust where the door closes. A typical kit, drawn from VDI's Crossfire manual: the plate, arm, brackets, shock and angles differ by vehicle, and each kit is made for its car.
