Description

Part number VDCCHEVYAVAL0306 comes from Vertical Doors, Inc., the only company building vertical lambo door conversions in the USA. This kit fits the Chevrolet Avalanche from 2003 through 2006 and covers every trim in that range. The hinges are cut from domestic hardened steel, the design is patented, and VDI has been making these kits for more than twenty years.

  • 2 VDI lambo door hinges, one for each side
  • 2 gas shocks

The hinges bolt to the factory bolt pattern, but as a GM truck from the 2006-and-older range, the Avalanche takes some extra work: the factory door hinges come off, and new holes get drilled and tapped before the VDI hinges bolt on. The conversion is reversible, so the truck can go back to stock doors later. We recommend having a professional shop handle the install, working from the instructions supplied with the kit. Note that truck and SUV kits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so confirm your application before ordering.
