Description

Part number VDCCHEVYSILVER9906 is the vertical door conversion kit Vertical Doors, Inc. builds for the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado. VDI has been at this for more than twenty years and is the only company manufacturing vertical lambo door kits in the USA. Every hinge is made here from domestic hardened steel, the design is patented, and the kit fits all Silverado trims across the 1999 through 2006 model years.

Here is what arrives in the box:

  • Two Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the truck
  • Two gas shocks to support the doors once they swing up
  • All mounting hardware needed for the conversion

The hinges line up with the factory bolt pattern, so the kit bolts on and the truck can go back to stock doors later. Keep in mind that GM trucks from 2006 and earlier left the factory with welded-on hinges, so drilling and tapping is part of this install. Each kit ships with an instruction manual, and we recommend having a professional installer handle the job with that manual on the bench. As with all truck and SUV kits, this one is non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so double-check your year and model before ordering.
