Description
Fitment on this kit runs from 1973 through 1987 and covers every trim of the Chevrolet Dually. Part number VDCCHEVYDUALLY7387 from Vertical Doors Inc. converts the stock doors to a vertical swing using a direct bolt-on hinge design. One thing to know before you order: GM trucks from 2006 on down left the factory with welded-on door hinges, so this install does call for drilling and tapping.
Each kit ships with:
- Two Vertical Doors Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the truck
- Two gas shocks
- All the mounting hardware needed for the conversion
The hinges mount to the factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is reversible, so the truck can go back to its stock doors later if you change your mind. Every kit is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well. An instruction manual comes in the box and Vertical Doors Inc. backs it with free tech support, but we recommend having a professional installer do the work using those supplied instructions. Note that truck and SUV kits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so confirm your year and model before you buy.
