Description
Big doors on a big truck need a lot of swing room, and the Super Duty has some of the biggest doors on the road. This kit converts the factory doors on the 1999-2016 Ford F250, F350, F450, and F550 Super Duty to open vertically instead of out, and it fits every trim across that whole run. The part number is VDCF3509910, built by Vertical Doors, Inc.
Inside the box:
- Two VDI lambo door hinges, one for each side of the truck
- Two gas shocks to lift the doors and hold them up
- All the mounting hardware needed for the install
The hinges bolt directly to the factory bolt pattern, so the conversion is fully reversible; unbolt the kit and the truck goes back to stock. Every hinge is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well. The install is within reach of a mechanically inclined owner with basic tools, but we recommend professional installation using the instructions supplied with the kit, and free tech support is available if questions come up.
