Description
The 2006-2011 Honda Civic sedan is everywhere, which is exactly why one that opens its doors straight up gets noticed. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. converts both front doors to swing up vertically instead of out, and it fits every trim of the 4-door Civic built from 2006 through 2011. Part number VDCHC06084D.
Everything needed for the conversion comes in the box:
- 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges (one for each side)
- 2 gas shocks to hold the doors in the raised position
- All mounting hardware
The hinges mount directly to the Civic’s factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is completely reversible if you ever want to return the car to stock. The hardware is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel and the hinge design is patented. Each kit ships with a step-by-step instruction manual and VDI backs it with free tech support, but doors are heavy and alignment matters, so we recommend having a professional installer do the job using the instructions supplied with the kit.
