This Vertical Doors, Inc. conversion kit, part number VDCHC9600, swings your factory doors up and out of the way instead of out into the next parking space. It fits every trim of the 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 Civic.
Everything arrives in one box:
- Two VDI lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
- Two gas shocks to hold the doors up and control their travel
- All the mounting hardware needed for the conversion
The hinges mount straight to the Civic’s factory bolt pattern, so this is a true bolt-on design, and the conversion is fully reversible if you ever want the car back to stock. Every kit is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel and is patented here as well. A step-by-step instruction manual comes with the kit, and free tech support is a phone call or email away.
