The kit is engineered specifically for the Jaguar XK8 and XKR and fits every model year from 1997 through 2006, across all trim levels.

• 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
• 2 gas shocks to raise the doors and hold them open
• All the mounting hardware needed for the job

The hinges mount straight to the Jaguar’s factory bolt pattern, so this is a genuine bolt-on conversion, and it is completely reversible if you ever decide to return the car to its stock door swing. Each hinge is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well. An instruction manual comes in the box and free tech support is a phone call or email away, but we recommend having a professional installer fit the kit using those supplied instructions. Once the conversion is done, the doors are no harder to operate than the stock ones were.
