This kit fits the 2008 through 2014 Smart Fortwo 451, and it covers every trim of the two-door 451 built in those seven model years. Part number VDCSMART420810 is a hinge conversion from Vertical Doors, Inc. that swaps the stock swing for a vertical Lambo-style opening. On a car as short as the Fortwo, the doors going up instead of out is a genuinely practical change in a tight parking spot, and it turns heads everywhere else.
