Description
Fitment is the 1992 through 1995 Honda Civic, and it covers every trim level across those four model years, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995. Part number VDCHC9295 is a lambo door hinge conversion from Vertical Doors, Inc., the only company building vertical door and ZLR conversions in the United States. The kit replaces the factory hinges so your Civic’s doors open vertically instead of swinging out into the next parking space.
One box holds the whole conversion:
- 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
- 2 gas shocks to support the doors through their travel
- All mounting hardware for both sides
The hinges bolt straight to the Civic’s factory bolt pattern, so there is no fabrication to the shell, and the swap is fully reversible if you ever want the car back to stock. The steel is domestic hardened stock, the design is patented, and the whole kit is made in the USA. VDI prototypes each application on the actual vehicle, includes a printed instruction manual in the box, and backs it up with free tech support. A mechanically handy owner with basic tools can manage it, but we recommend having a professional installer fit the kit using the instructions supplied with it.
