Description
The Chevrolet Cobalt takes well to a vertical door conversion. Instead of swinging out the way it left the factory, each door opens outward slightly and then rotates up alongside the fender, which changes the stance of the car completely whenever a door is open. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc., part number VDCCHEVYCOB0409, fits every trim of the Cobalt from 2004 through 2012.
What comes in the box:

- Two gas shocks to hold the doors up once they are open

The hinges mount directly to the Cobalt’s factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is fully reversible if you ever want to put the car back to stock.
