Description
A Ford Fusion with both doors standing straight up is not something people expect at a car meet, and that is the appeal. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. converts the factory doors on the 2013-2018 Fusion so each one pivots forward and rises vertically instead of swinging out. It is built specifically for this body, and it fits every trim level from 2013 through 2018. The part number is VDCFFUS13.
Everything needed for the conversion comes in the box:
- 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side
- 2 gas shocks to lift the doors and hold them open
- All mounting hardware
The hinges bolt directly to the factory bolt pattern, so the kit works with the mounting points Ford already put on the car, and the whole conversion is reversible if you ever want to return the Fusion to stock. The hinges are made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented.
