Description
Fitment first: this kit covers the GMC Sierra from 2007 through 2014, and it fits every trim level in that run. It is the Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door conversion for the truck, part number VDCGMCSIER07. With the kit on, each door opens a short way out and then rotates upward on the new hinge instead of swinging wide into the next parking space.
- Two VDI vertical door hinges, one for each side of the truck
- Two gas shocks to control the door on the way up and hold it open

The hinges bolt straight to the Sierra’s factory bolt pattern, and the conversion is reversible if you ever want the truck back to stock. VDI builds these kits in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well. An instruction manual ships in the box, and our recommendation is to have a professional installer do the work using those instructions.
