Description

At its core this kit is a hinge swap. It replaces the stock hinges on the two-door Honda Civic with Vertical Doors, Inc. hinges that let each door swing out and then rotate up, Lambo style. Part number VDCHC112DR covers the 2012-2015 Civic coupe and fits every trim across those years – 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Here is what comes in the box:

• 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. Lambo door hinges, one for each side
• 2 gas shocks to support the doors once they are up
• All mounting hardware needed for the conversion

The hinges mount to the factory bolt pattern, so the kit bolts on where the original hinges sat, and the conversion is fully reversible – unbolt it and the car goes back to stock. The hardware is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel and the design is patented here as well.
