A 1990-1997 Lincoln Town Car is about the last car anyone expects to see with its doors swung up vertically, which is exactly why the conversion suits it. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. converts the four-door Town Car to vertical-opening lambo-style doors, and it fits every trim level across the 1990 through 1997 model years. The part number is VDCLTC90974DR.

Each hinge is a direct bolt-on that mounts to the factory bolt pattern, and the whole conversion is reversible if you ever want the car back to stock. The hinges are made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the design is patented here as well. VDI has been building these kits for over 20 years and prototypes every kit to keep the install as straightforward as it can be. An instruction manual ships with the kit and free tech support is a phone call or email away, but we recommend having a professional installer do the work using those instructions so the doors line up and operate the way they should from the first swing.
