Description

Part number VDCCADESC9901 comes from Vertical Doors, Inc., the only manufacturer building lambo door conversions in the USA, and it covers every trim of the 1999, 2000, and 2001 Cadillac Escalade. The hinges are made from domestic hardened steel on a patented design, so the door swings up on proper hardware instead of a fabricated one-off bracket.

The hinges mount to the factory bolt pattern, but budget for real shop work on this one: GM trucks from 2006 and earlier need the stock door hinges removed and new holes drilled and tapped before the VDI hinges bolt in. Done correctly the conversion is reversible, so the Escalade can go back to its stock doors later. We recommend professional installation, following the instructions supplied with the kit. One more thing to know before you order: truck and SUV kits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so confirm your Escalade falls in the 1999-2001 range first.
