Description

Fitment runs from 1979 through 1988 and covers every trim level of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo built in that stretch. The kit comes from Vertical Doors, Inc. under part number VDCCHEVYMC7988, and it converts the stock doors to open vertically, lambo style, while keeping the original doors and panels on the car.

  • 2 Vertical Doors, Inc. lambo door hinges, one for each side of the car
  • 2 gas shocks to hold the doors up once they are open
  • All the mounting hardware the job calls for

Each hinge bolts to the factory bolt pattern, so there is no fabrication of new mounting points and the car can be returned to stock hinges whenever you want. The hardware is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel and the design is patented. A step-by-step instruction manual comes in the box, and we recommend having a professional installer do the work with that manual in hand.
