On a 1988-1998 Chevrolet truck, vertical doors change the whole character of the cab: instead of swinging out into the next parking space, each door pivots forward and rises straight up. This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc., part number VDCCHEVY-GMC8898, fits every trim of the 1988 through 1998 Chevy truck and mounts to the factory bolt pattern, so the hinge points land where GM put them.

One thing to know going in: GM trucks from 2006 back left the factory with welded-on door hinges, so this install calls for some drilling and tapping alongside the bolt-up work. The hinges are made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, the design is patented, and the conversion is reversible if you ever want the truck back to stock.
